Here is the tag inside the door pocket:
I made such a mess while making this tag. But I love messy projects like this. You don't have to worry about making mistakes, because there is no wrong way to do it. While visiting the Stampotique Designers' Blog, I saw that they are sponsoring a challenge over at Southern Girls Challenge Blog and the challenge is tags. Okay, I'm game! Pulled out my all time Stampotique favorite, Marci, and paired her up with the Welcome Door stamp. I stamped the door with Distress Ink in Soot and used black embossing powder to give it more texture. I cut it out and cut a second one so I could glue the two together to form a pocket, open only at the top. The tag is a Sizzix die, cut out on Tim Holtz Grunge Paper. I inked it up with Distress Inks, sprayed it with several colors of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, sprayed it with Goosebumps, and while still semi-wet, added some black embossing powder, then heat set. It looks very cool in real life. Marci is also done with black embossing powder and just a little bit of green Martha Stewart marker for a bit of color. I used my old school label maker for the sentiment and attached Marci with thin pop dots. Added some crinkle ribbon and called it done!
Now just imagine welcoming the new neighbors with something like this! What will they think? LOL!
