Happy Monday! Before I get to some Spring cleaning, I want to share this cute little project I made for the Peachy Keen challenge. It's a photo inspiration challenge and I used the colors from the photo. These itsy-bitsy take-out boxes are an Ellison Thick Cuts die, which is basically the same thing as the Sizzix Bigz dies. I filled the boxes with Jelly Bellies. There aren't too many things that will fit into these tiny boxes, but they are perfect for jelly beans, M&M's and things like that.
After cutting each box, I stamped the Peachy Keen face, added a Martha Stewart rub-on border and then folded on all of the score lines. I punched holes on the side and added colored fun wire for the handles. I just looped the wire on the inside to hold it in place.
The tags are a QuicKutz die, which are also itsy-bitsy in size. For the sentiment, I used a Just Rite Curlz font set. Since the tags are so small, I needed to be able to see where I was stamping the sentiment, so rather that use the bulky Just Rite wood mount, I put down a strip of double-sided removal tape on a clear acrylic block and stuck the tiny little stamps on it. Worked like a charm :)
Then I just used coordinating twine for each box and tied on the tag. I think these turned out simply adorable!
