Good Morning and happy Wednesday. This week at Whimsical Wednesday, we are focusing on St. Patty's Day. Now, while my card doesn't "scream" St. Patty's Day, I do have lots of green, a little red-haired girl who is holding a little shamrock. So use your imagination and creativity and let's see what you come up with! Sorry, but I just didn't have it in me to do another St. Patty's Day card...
I stamped the image and cut it out using Nestabilities Labels Three and colored it up with Copics. I added a wee bit of shimmer to the shamrock and the bows in her hair.
Than I added some faux stitching with a MS marker and matted it twice, using thin pop dots. I punched the background pieces with a Martha Stewart doily lace punch and the center one is attached with pop dots. The pretty papers are from the DCWV 8x8 Garden Party stack. The sentiment tag is a Just Rite die and the sentiment, which is one of my faves, is by Whimsical Designs from the Whimsical Fun Vol. I set, pictured here
I've had the Pebbles ribbon for about 3 years now and I am finally using up the last of it. I have got to start using up some of my ribbon supply. It's out of control!
There's plenty more inspiration and fun projects by the Design Team, to get you inspired and playing along with our fun challenge. Hop on over to Whimsical Designs and get all of the details. Of course, we have a wonderful sponsor for this challenge:
