Whimsical Designs Challenge ~ We're Back!!!

Wednesdays couldn't get any better for me right now!  This is my second post of the day AND my second Design Team card for the day, too!  If you haven't seen my Stuck On U Sketches post, please scroll down :)

And here I am with my Whimsical Wednesday card.  After taking a break last year, Stephanie is back with the Whimsical Wednesday Challenge and I couldn't be happier!

We have wonderful things planned so be sure to stop by Whimsical Designs each week to keep up with all of the fun.

The challenge this week is "Anything Goes".  Doesn't get any easier than that!

Now on to my card.  These cute chicks are from the Silhouette store and cut on my Silhouette SD (I think that stands for Silhouette Dinosaur, LOL!)  Hey, it may be old, but it gets the job done.

I embossed the bodies with Swiss Dots and did a little inking.  

My favorite part of the card is the chicken wire embossing.  I saw it on a card out in blogland (possibly Paula Bee?) and immediately had to have it!  

It's hard to tell in the photo, but behind the chicks, there is a scalloped semi-circle, cut with a Nestie.  The DP is DCWV, but the name of the stack escapes me....Flower something???

The tag is from a Just Rite Dies set, called Vintage Labels & Banner.  

The sweet sentiment is a Whimsical Designs stamp from the With Love set.  This set is PERFECT for Valentine's Day projects, but it has a nice variety of sentiments that are great for other occasions.

The little chick is a button from my stash.  I snipped off the loop and adhered with a pop dot.
