Sweet Friend ~ SOUS Die Cut Challenge

TGIF!!!  It's been a hectic week for me and today isn't looking much better.   Another trip to the hospital for Angelo :(
On the bright side, today is my very first DT post for the Stuck On U Sketches Die Cut Challenge!   I was in a bit of a time crunch getting this one done and would have like to add more detail and textures, but I think it turned out rather cute.  The current challenge is titled
"Create a Decorated Wreath Around Your Photo"
As you can see, I made a card and therefore, no photo.  But what I should have done was add an image or die cut to the center.  We are looking for an overall "theme".  Sorry.....it's been one of those weeks.  If you visit the SOUS blog, you will see how the amazingly talented design team pulled it off.  The theme of my wreath is inspired by my sentiment, so I'm halfway there.

The "wreath"is a  Lacé Marianne's Designs die.
The center circle was cut out with a Nestabilities die. The pears are from a Cuttlebug Fruit and Tag set.  The "golden delicious" apples are also Cuttlebug, from an Apples & Books die.
The cherries are from the Spellbinders Frameabilities set called Cherry Pickin'.
The little blue flowers are from a Heartfelt Creations Spellbinders set called Posy Patch.  (There is a coordinating stamp designed for these dies)

The sentiment tag is Spellbinders Shapeabilities Fancy Tags set.
The sentiment is by Whimsical Designs, from the Everyday Sentiments set.  I added two Skittles to the tag.  I have hundreds of Skittles somewhere....buried in the craft room.  I happened upon a few small containers while tripping over a basket and knocking things off the shelf in the back of the room.  :)
The background is embossed with the Polka Dots.  I'm sure you're all getting tired of seeing me use this folder, but until I excavate the 200 or so folders that are buried throughout the room, this is my go-to guy.
We'd love to see what you can create for this creative challenge!  Head on over to SOUS to see the Design Team's fabulous projects.  You will truly be inspired to play along.

I'm entering my card in the following challenges:

Sending well wishes to Angelo! I love your card. The texture is great :) How fun to have a variation on a wreath. It amazes me how many different possibilities there are with one thing when everyone puts their own spin on it.

I think this card is super creative, and you for sure have a theme going. Great inspiration. I really don't know how you are pulling all this off..I know how busy you have been.
