I've been working on these invitations since last week and just put the finishing touches on the last one this morning. I already gave them to my daughter-in-law to finish them up by including all the party details on the back, and I forgot to take a group photo. Luckily I kept this one for myself.
My mischievous grandson, Daniel will be turning two and he is a huge fan of Mickey Mouse, so naturally it will be a MM themed party.
Mickey is from the Cricut Mickey & Friends cartridge, cut at 4.5 inches. I flocked his red shorts by putting the pieces through my Xyron (right side down) and then just sprinkled on the flock. His shoes have a wet look, thanks to a clear stamp pad and clear UTEE. I only did one coat. I printed out the sentiment and embossed with Polka Dots folder. I think they turned out rather cute. I wouldn't cut Mickey any smaller, since the eyes and tongue were barely cuttable at this size. Any smaller and they'd probably get shredded.
OH NO! I just noticed this guy is missing his tongue! LMAO! I'll have to glue it on, but I probably won't update the picture.
